Swimming Carnival

Homestead 3 clinched the victory at the Pines. Sharks and flamingos wandered the pool grounds; the sun shone, and the canteen sold killer pythons. A great day.

Home Game

It wasn't a victory this time, but so noisy you'd have thought it was. Great game, everyone. It was the first at home for the Senior Boys on Cruden Oval.

Yabbies are in the aquaponics pond!

Joost Bakker and the Year 10s released yabbies into the nutrient-rich aquaculture water. The yabbies are under a mesh cover, so the birds and other wildlife can't enjoy them for breakfast. Watch below...

At the Farm

Have you ever seen a ladybug taking a nap? A group of Year 12s monitor insect numbers in their Unit 3 studies. Last spring, we released three valuable bug species into the garden to control aphids and thrips and they're now planning the next bug release ahead of autumn.
