From the Pool

Backstroke, freestyle, splash, bomb, icy pole, shady corner for reading, games and good times. Year 3 - 6 Penbank kids swam in the beautiful sunshine on Tuesday.

The Ribbon has been Cut!

Wednesday night marked the official opening of the Futures Studio. Years in the making, it now officially boasts the grand label, OPEN!

The main event was, of course, the annual Homestead Night. It was a perfect occasion for catchups, giant scissors and the chance to admire the beautiful, functional living classroom - that also serves as the Year 10 Homestead. Full circle moment.

Bec of Year 10 gave an outstanding speech to families and guests. If you've ever had questions about the Futures Studio building or the RFP programme, you won't now.

The Farm

Basil and cucamelons are our main harvests at the Farm at the moment. Year 10 and 11 students planted dahlia seedlings in O-Week last year, and at the end of this term, they will select the plants that best meet their breeding objective to grow again next summer.

Student Brains Trust

The Woodleigh Committee has big plans for 2025. Across all year levels, they are the student body bringing the student voice. With such strong leadership, we will see big things this year; stay tuned.

Marble season has officially hit Minimbah, and it's no joke.

Blue Banded Bee

Seen! At the farm, amongst the Dahlias and the grapevines, this young lady darted everywhere but in front of the camera... until finally, we captured her in her blue striped pants.

Hattah is a big part of Year 10; it's challenging in all the ways one can be challenged. Preparation is underway so by the time May comes around, they will be less um, terrified? Kidding, it's a walk in the park (with a blindfold).
